As with my other maps, apologies and credits go to the great people I copied, pasted, and stole ideas from. That being said, there's always still a good chunk of customization that go into these, and I hope they turn out to be fun, playable, and at least somewhat eye-pleasing entries. This is a remake (again) of the '99 TO map, BrokenFaith, which as I understand was part of a map pack of maps designed in "X" hours or less. It turned out that the group I played with absolutely loved it and the group ALSO absolutely loves this remake.

I realize that there are ... architectural differences between some of the walls on this map. You can see it most clearly by looking at the hiding spot near the hostages. The bricks of one wall don't look like they should be near the bricks of another. At this point, I just say to myself, it doesn't look that bad, is a lot better than some other maps out there, and dangit, it's just fun.

This map has a bit of randomness right at the beginning because of the grenade-lobbing that goes on immediately. Then it turns into a little bit of a bloodbath and perhaps a SHORT 1v1 or 1v2 manhunt. The hostages are actually and definitely rescueable.

The main question I pose to the community at large is whether or not to add a door into the church on the SF side. I've deliberated about it a lot, and in our local playtesting we believe it doesn't matter and that it should be left as is. But I want your opinions, too. We've played this with 6-8 players at a time and found that even when outnumbered with better players, the Special Forces CAN still win - and even dominate. So in short, we really like this one locally, but what do you all think?

P.S. If I didn't mention it before, I also have revisions to my Crackhouse and Tenement levels and they are freaking excellent and important updates. Once BrokenFaith is settled, I'll put them all into one "Winkyboy" map pack and call them all Finished.
